Beginning in 1952, Wyong Drama Group Inc. has been entertaining the Central Coast for over 70 years. But we are more than a group of people bonded by a love of all things theatre. We are also a welcoming family celebrating each and every member.

We mount three major productions each year, and, since its inception in 1994, we have hosted many Central Coast Theatre Festivals - a festival for One Act Plays and home of the WOSCARS. The next is planned for June 2024.

We have also been the force behind other special events:

Drama Workshops, Bush Bashes (country dance and play), Music Halls, Birthday Celebrations and Fashion Spectaculars.

From 2013 we were, up to the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic, producing shows at The Art House and then The Grove Theatre in Wyong, which was our home while we eagerly awaited the completion of the new Elderslee building renovations at Tuggerah, which unveiled The Red Tree Theatre, where we now "live".

We have regular Play Readings, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and quarterly General Meetings, with more "social" gatherings in between.
