A sadistic American stepmother who controls the lives of her broken children, left without hope, confidence, unable to take their place in the world. A French psychiatrist, a budding English doctor / psychologist, a Tory politician, a left-wing alderman; a marriage on the rocks, a love triangle . . .
They meet at the King Solomon Hotel in Jerusalem in the late 1945 and head off into the Jordanian desert on a tour to Petra.

A story full of heart. Right to the end, audiences will be wondering if these lovable misfits will really pull it off.
